Day 62: Sick Again But We Keep Going

Finished working on the output management section of the webpack docs. zoomed out to see the table of contents and saw how much I had left to cover… My heart sank LOL. I’m not even close to being done. Decided to try and complete one page a day and keep going with other pursuits in the mean time. I won’t be mastering this tool anytime soon. I just need to keep getting reps in to increase my comfort level.

TLDR;

Okay, so here are the highlights of what I did:

  • JavaScript -> I Finished working through and coding all the examples in the Output Management page in the Webpack documentation. I started on the Development page.
  • Practice -> Continued working on the Travel Journal project from the React tutorial course. Mainly styling. I am honestly getting bored of all the CSS but at the same time I am working through the tutorial specifically for the repetition and opportunity to practice what I already know in a non-work environment. Revision is the goal here not experimentation.

Goal For Round 7 of the #100DaysofCode Challenge

This is my seventh round of the “#100daysofcode” challenge. I will be continuing my work from round five and round six into round seven. I am currently working through the book “Cracking the Coding Interview” by Gayle Laakmann McDowell. My goal is to become more familiar with algorithms and data structures. This goal was derived from my goal to better understand operating systems and key programs that I use in the terminal regularly e.g. Git. This goal was in turn derived from my desire to better understand the fundamental tools used for coding outside of popular GUIs. This in turn was derived from my desire to be a better back-end developer.

I have no idea if my path is correct but I am walking down this road anyways. Worst case scenario I learn a whole bunch of stuff that will help me out on my own personal projects.
